HarperFiction has picked up two more novels by BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood.
Kate Bradley, Editorial Director, has acquired worldwide rights to Kerr MacRae from Kerr MacRae LPA. The new books are currently untitled and do not yet have release dates.
Her first novel Under a Greek moonreached second place in the Sunday time list of summer 2021 bestsellers and beyond, The Hotel on the French Riviera, will publish this month.
Bradley said, “Carol’s first novel, Under a Greek moon, blew readers away, its heady mix of romance, scandal and sizzle was enthralling and proved to be exactly what readers want. We are excited to publish more books with Carol; that her debut went straight to number two shows how brilliant she is at connecting with her fans and readers. Carol is an absolute treasure who is already proving to be a shining star in the genre – we’re incredibly excited about what’s to come.
MacRae added, “Carol’s stories allow you to escape with her to beautiful places, with interesting people and stories that twist and turn. I’m thrilled the fantastic team at HarperCollins will take it even higher with these new books.
Kirkwood said she was “absolutely thrilled” to be working on two more books.
