Shaq’s Fun House draws big crowds, celebrities with live music and entertainment – CBS Los Angeles

EXHIBITION PARK (CBSLA) — LA’s self-proclaimed best party planner is back in action Friday night with Shaq’s Fun House, a night for everyone from A-list celebrities, athletes and musicians to your own co-workers to enjoy the best of what the city has to offer. has to offer offers, with lots of Shaq’s personal touch.

Who better than Los Angeles’ favorite big man to kick off Super Bowl weekend – with what’s being billed as a “larger than life” event – than Shaquille O’Neal himself.

An idea that began in 2018, and after taking a year off in 2021 due to the pandemic, Shaq’s Fun house is an evening of games, live music and entertainment, local favorites and Super Bowl prep. of Sunday, in which the city is very clean The Los Angeles Rams will participate in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

When CBS reporters spoke with Shaq on the event’s red carpet, he told them he threw the party this year, as always for fun, because the city of Los Angeles deserves some excitement.

“I was once known as the greatest party thrower in Los Angeles, a title I took from the great Magic Johnson,” he recalled, before explaining the real motive behind his big event. “When I started playing for the Lakers I used to have parties and a lot of famous people would come, but I know for a fact there will be a lot of ‘corporate parties’ with people standing – I wanted to bring the carnival to the people of LA, I wanted to bring my favorite DJs, I wanted to bring Lil Wayne, and we’re just gonna have a good time.
