Flute groups from all over Scotland descended on Ayrshire over the weekend in March.
Nearly 100 clubs and groups traveled to Irvine on Saturday afternoon for the Scottish Amalgamated Committee of the Apprentice Boys of Derry (ABOD).
The outfits paraded through the streets of the city with people lining up to watch the show.
The event caused considerable traffic disruption, with buses and motorists being delayed into the afternoon.
Police also warned that Marress Road (Northbound, Marress Roundabout to Burns Street) would be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Woodlands Avenue from the Bank Street junction to the Quarry Road junction was also closed during the same period.
Groups from as far away as Belfast took part in the march with outfits from Perth and Edinburgh also making the journey to Ayrshire.
