Emeli Sandé and his pianist fiancée Yoana Karemova have discussed the release of a joint love album.
The ‘Next to Me’ hitmaker just got engaged to the musician and they could collaborate on music together in the future.
She said: “We talked about maybe releasing an album or a collection of songs that come naturally from love.
“It’s great for us to come from two separate worlds.
“She brings so much music theory knowledge and through the singing and my melodies, we found that really lovely midpoint.”
The 35-year-old star insisted she felt no “pressure” to announce her relationship and come out, she just wanted to share her “joy with the world”.
Emeli said during an appearance on the ‘That Gaby Roslin’ podcast: “I didn’t feel pressured to share anything, but I just wanted to.
“When you’re in love and happy, that’s something I naturally wanted to share.
“Whether it was with a man or a woman, it wasn’t really my concern.
“It was just, ‘This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me, I’m super happy in love and I want to share that joy with the world’.”
The “My Kind of Love” singer revealed on Sept. 21 that her partner proposed as she showed off a stunning ruby and diamond engagement ring in a message to her followers.
Posting two red love hearts, she simply wrote, “I said yes!”
She was seen wearing the ring at the Terrence Higgins Trust’s 40th anniversary gala dinner on September 15, when she and Yoana stepped out at the Old Royal Naval College in London.
Emeli – who was married to college professor Adam Gouraguine from 2012 to 2014 – announced in the spring that she was dating the classical pianist.
She later admitted that she would like to have a child with her in the future.
She said: “I would like to have a child one day.
“It’s that balance – you want to get better at what you do, you want to keep pushing your career, but at the same time you’re a woman.
“If that happens, then fantastic. But if I’m supposed to dedicate myself to my music, then so be it. Hopefully one day we can start a family.”
