Catherine Zeta-Jones looked completely unrecognizable in a platinum blonde bob as she filmed for her new National Treasure TV series.
The 52-year-old British actress has completely transformed her look, as she is usually seen with long, shoulder-length brown hair.
But for her new role, the beauty is touring New Orleans with a very different look.
In new images, Hollywood actress Catherine was seen with her dark brown locks covered in what is believed to be a sleek short bob in a shiny blonde color.
She wore a beige top and pants as she walked past a car while filming the television spin-off of Nicolas Cage’s National Treasure films.
Catherine is known for her ageless beauty as well as her acting talent, but it’s been reported that she wasn’t happy about getting “pretty girl” roles early in her career.
She first rose to fame in the UK in the 1980s through her role as Mariette in Darling Buds of May.
After that, she landed roles in America in The Mask of Zorro in 1998 and Entrapment in 1999.
And she met husband Michael Douglas, who at 77 is 25 years her senior, after they were introduced to each other at a film festival by actor Danny DeVito.
They married in 2000 and now share two children – Dylan, 21, and Carys, 18.
Earlier this week, Catherine and Michael paid tribute to their son Dylan after attending his graduation ceremony.
Michael shared a photo with his son, who was wearing his cap and robe and holding a plaque from the prestigious Ivy League school at Brown University, where he majored in political science.
He wrote in the caption, “A proud dad! Congratulations Dylan! Well done!”
Catherine’s own photo saw the duo entwined in a tight embrace, with Dylan towering over her actress mother.
She wrote: “Congratulations on graduation to my boy, my pride, my joy, Dylan.
“I am inexplicably proud of you and love you beyond words.”
