Irene Returns + Video Badness »
WORDS: 323 | 19.04.08 | | , ,

I’ve decided to give writing Irene another go. I started on it this morning after trying in vain to do a video post with no working USB ports on the only computer I have access to that has the internet, which annoys me because I’ve been trying for two days and I’ve even got the video finish I just can’t actually get it on the web. Woe is poor me!

Anyway, back to Irene. If you ever read my other blogs then you likely know that I’ve had a horror novel in the works for almost a year now, and that I’ve tossed it aside and picked it up, and tossed it aside and picked it up about four times always assuming I wouldn’t ever finish the damn thing. Well, I’ve once again picked up my side-tossed book and started writing again.

I’ve got no ending, that’s the problem. I can visualize everything else in my head, I can even see the characters plain as day - Jess, a pretty boy who’s a bit too thin for my tastes, trying to look cool in sunglasses and over-did blond curls, Megumi with her tea bleached dark auburn hair and peach colored lip gloss, and her phone with 6 thousand charms on it. And Irene, a bit chubbier than she could be, her hair worn short around her jaw with a cheap white purse for a bookbag - I can see them all in my mind as clear as day but when it comes to ending the story, I don’t know what to do with them. It’s about to drive me crazy!

I’m going to sit down with myself and try and outline the damn thing again, and if that doesn’t work I’m going to try and use my new copy of Video Edit Magic (*hugs it*) to shrink my video down small enough to fit on a floppy disk so I can transfer it. Wish me luck!
